To Add Support Engineering Supports to Iso

This procedure details how to add OpenPlant Support Engineering supports to the isos generated from OpenPlant Modeler .
  1. Open a drawing in OpenPlant Support Engineering then reference in the piping model.
  2. Add support components as desired using OpenPlant Support Engineering placement procedures.
  3. Important: Keyin the following command: BESM SETTMATRIX
  4. Save and close the OpenPlant Support Engineering drawing.
  5. Open Modeler and load the piping drawing referenced when placing the support components.
  6. Attach the OpenPlant Support Engineering model as a reference drawing.
  7. Open the Pipeline Manager from the Piping ribbon.
  8. Select a pipeline(s) and click the Auto-Generate Iso Sheet icon. The following message displays:
  9. Click Yes to create the iso sheets.
  10. Optional: To view the isosheet information, open the IsoSheet Manager. This is not necessary, however, to generate the iso(s).
  11. Select the pipeline(s) from the list and click the Generate Iso(s) icon. The OpenPlant Isometrics Manager launches and generates the isos. The isometric results are shown in the Isometric Manager as shown below:

    The Iso Manager provides the Name, Style and Progress of the isos generated.

  12. To view an isometric drawing, right-click and select Show Isometric from the pop up menu. The iso is opened in the Isoextractor interface as shown below:
